This was my 1st ever tour and I was very happy. Our tour Director, was spectacular. She was full of energy, was always positive, displayed extensive knowledge of the area and thoroughly enjoyed her job.

We are slightly dissapointed due to the fact that we are not informed regarding the peak autumn schedule and our tour was a bit too early to see the foliage. Aside from that, the tour service are as described.

The bathroom light switch was difficult at the Williamstown Hotel in Williamstown, MA. It had a timer switch that you had to keep resetting. Annoying.

Autumn Colors 2016 as organized by Trafalgar Tours gave me a nature experience that was both humanly wonderful and soulfully uplifting. The foliage, the drive through New England small towns, the mountain, forest, and coast experiences, the rich and entertaining narrative by our Travel Director, my fellow travelers, the accommodations, and the meals all contributed to make this tour experience 'the best ever'.

Wonderful insider information about the sights and culture

Tour guide was very organized and knowledgeable. Excellent! Driver was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We felt very safe in his tour bus. Great Job.

Tour director was totaly un-prepared for this trip: not operational ready, not organized, lack of knowledge about area of traveling, etc. Having such a tour director just compromised "Trafalgar" tour company

First off, the title of the tour was a joke/farce !!!. Trafalgar advertised it as Autumn Colors, but there were no such colors. The tour should have been called, "New England Bus Ride". We paid so much money expecting to see an spectacular show of Autumn but saw green leaves instead. Trafalgar and for that matter Affordable Tours misrepresented in this tour package. I suggest that next time this particular tour be moved to a later date to make sure the ATUMN LEAVES WILL BE THERE in case Nature "decides to do a late showing". The weather was nice and warm in New England when we went hence the leaves did not change colors yet but that was unfortunate for us folks who went on an early trip. This week would have been perfect !!!! I understand the logistics and difficulty making changes after trips have been booked and arranged but I think folks deserve to get what they paid for. For this particular trip " Autumn Colors", we should have been warned ahead of time if we wanted to cancel the trip for a better date. The hotels were beautiful. Bar Harbor and Red Jacket Inn. However, those of us unfortunate that were given rooms where the views were but parking lots, back of the hotel or nothing feel cheated compared to those lucky ones whose rooms had magnificent mountains and ocean views. We paid the same amount for the trip and should be afforded the same great views whenever the hotels had them. Trafalgar or Affordable Tours should make it a point to contract only the rooms with great views for their customers whenever they are available. Or as other customers on the trip said, let everyone know about the rooms with the great views and have the option to pay a bit more for the opportunity if so required. Or is it??? I invited a friend from Australia to join me on this tour and she did. She spent more money than I did to make the trip to America. Like me she wanted to see the Autumn Colors. Like many who went this time we were extremely disappointed. I feel very bad for her coming all this way to see nothing but GREEN leaves in New England, USA that she could see in Australia. We both traveled with Trafalgar before but SAD to say we are again disappointed. Our tour manager and driver were fantastic. Trafalgar can give them a bonus. The two made the Bus Trip in New England as best they could without the Autumn Colors.
