Cabrits is a national park on the island of Dominica. This is also home of the remaining Carib Indians. It is a uniquely shaped peninsula that was formed by the two peaks of an extinct volcano. The Cabrits was a military post until 1854. The forest then gained control and in 1986 Cabrits became part of the National Park System.
