Washington, D.C. SightseeingRise and shine, the political and cultural highlights of this high flying city await this morning. The rest of the day is then free to explore however you choose and the question is where to start? Pigeon Forge - Nashville (2 nights)Start your day off with a short drive into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited national park in all of the USA. Simply beautiful is the only way to describe this place, where enchanting forests and meadows of wildflowers bloom all year round. Spend some time walking along the trails that will take you along rivers, streams and waterfalls and be sure to look up to see Clingmans Dome looming above. Next up we'll travel to Nashville for some good old fashioned southern hospitality. The city is a mecca for country music lovers and has been attracting icons since the 1920's. After all, it was here in 1968 that Martin Luther King was assassinated. Tonight you’ll no doubt be keen to put Memphis’ legendary barbecue reputation to the test. Fort Worth – AmarilloLeaving the bright lights and busy streets of Dallas behind, this morning you'll continue on to Amarillo, originally built in 1903 as a siding for the Rock Island railway line but began to collapse after the construction of Route 66. It's equally quiet and fascinating and you'll learn all about the town's unique history before moving on to the Cadillac Ranch, just outside of Amarillo. An iconic stop on Route 66 and a tribute to America's love affair with cars, the Ranch has 10 Cadillacs buried face down and travelers are encouraged to leave their mark on them. Amarillo – Santa Fe (2 nights)Head deeper into wild west country today as you travel towards one of America's oldest and most stunning cities, sizzling Santa Fe. I had a wonderful time with this trip. The travel director set up the tone and pace of the trip is the best. He was never flustered and gave us updates. Our drivers superb driving kept us safe. We were given keepsakes and snacks from different regions we visited and it was a pleasure to have these. The tour was fantastic. It was hectic, but was well organized. Steve our travel director is excellent! He went above & beyond to give us a trip of a Lifetime. Very well organized and had some fun activities while on the road to make our ride time less boring. Very professional and courteous but treat everyone like Family. Very knowledgeable about geography & history of the places we were visiting. Our driver Giuseppe has a top knotch driving skills and very professional and courteous. Keeping us all safe on the road as well as helping everybody while getting off the bus. The trip itinerary was very detailed. From the booking to the end of my trip I was totally satisfied. It was my second trip, but I think I will book my future trips again. The trip director and all local guides were very knowledgeable and had great sense of humor, never boring. The optional excursions were excellent.
Great everything
If people would ask me if I got my money's worth, I would reply that I got much much more than my money's worth. My trip was beyond wonderful, beyond amazing, beyond breathtaking.... Trent Plaine gave great background history of every country we visited; he took us to places morning noon and night... if there were places on the way out of a country he'd have us visit them and stop for great views. He was knowledgeable on flavors, food... the road trip was fantabulous!
The trip was well organized,the director Annarika is excellent in all aspects .our driver Marco is excellent too.They are both highly recommended in the fields they chose.In my next travel I wish I will be with them again.
